Just having fun

It is so important to encourage young people, (especially your own children) to see the natural beauty in themselves.  It's good to let them know that they don't have to change, add fake hair, or down their nappy God-given hair to be beautiful.  I believe that there is beauty outside of the box, (the relaxer box that is) if we would only cultivate, appreciate, and give ourselves a chance to let our glory be glorious.  I Corinthians 11:15 says a woman's hair IS her glory, for it is a crown to her.  So I want to encourage my three little queens to love themselves from every puff, to every curl, with every napp; inside and out!  My goal is to cultivate their little minds, bodies and souls for excellence in their total being.  ~  Lock on! ~

Thank you!!! If we, as their parents (or close loved ones) don't instill in them that they are beautiful, smart, special while they are small, they will be more apt to believe anything from anyone. Unfortunately that could be very detrimental, debilitating, and just a form of abuse to their inner self. It could possibly block them from reaching their full potential to become the person they were designed to be. It's sad but there are so many children that are socially stunted and stuck on the inside of adults. So much dirty laundry of even our history for example, that has many of us confused about our beauty. So I am determined to encourage my babies. The hurt has to end and healing has to begin. For some the healing must continue. Thank God for all those who know how to pick up the Word, seek understanding, and encourage themselves and experience true strength. (Pardon my detour on various levels, subjects and thoughts. I just took that turn and kept driving!)

Your daughter's updo (the one sitting in the chair) is so lovely and looks so regal. I can picture little gems being placed in the front like a crown. Thank you for encouraging your little ladies to embrace their God given crown. You're a great mother. :-)
