She loves wearing the braidout style. We are so proud of her straight A's, GATE, and the list goes on. This was her favorite teacher, who asked us if she could keep her forever. Well you all know what the answer was right... ABSOLUTELY NOT, sweet thought, but nope! Taken:5/2010
My girls start on the LEFT ending with the baby in the middle. Destinee, Nevaeh and Trinity are our three little ladies!
The girl on the far right is one of their friend's & her gorgeous traditional locks. This pic was actually taken Mon. 6-14-10, my daughter's six month loc'versary! Of course my daughter in the middle (Nevaeh) wants them now! We'll see.. Check out our baby girl Trinity, hasn't she grown so much since the last pic. Wow time really flies
As for Destinee, her sisterlocks are coming along beautifully! She really enjoys having them. I am very proud of how committed she is to remaining natural. I am almost finished taking down my first in-stall of sisterlocks. My mother suggested that I get a relaxer. She was very clear that I "needed" one. Before I had a chance to explain, my little girl excitedly explained that there are many ways to care for & enjoy your hair. We choose not to use relaxers because it is very damaging to the hair! I was very proud of her, but my mother went on and on about inventions and how they have helped. You gotta love your mother. But I think I might be getting to her. I just wanted to point out to her (& so many for that fact) how relaxers have caused a lot of balding, thinning, and an increase in weave and wig sales. It really is not worth it. But it is worth so much to learn, accept and appreciate the beauty in the natural hair God has given us. All I'm saying is to love yourself. Or at least give yourself a chance to get to know the real you! Our society has grown so accustomed to us wearing fake, straight hair that it is now expected for us to wear our that way. Well anyways let me get off of my soapbox! My re-install date is 6-26-10. And I am looking oh so forward to it!!! Lock on! I missed you all a whole lot, but I'm coming back soon!

Thanks Sophia. Time really flies by!
Aww your babies are too cute!! And I am glad to hear you are getting your Sl's redone. I've been checking back for an update:)
Thanks Natural High! Not only are they cute but they are truly SWEET HEARTS as well. Love 'em , love 'em, love 'em!!! Sorry I have not been updating. Between working and everything else, I have really been busy. Even when I did take a little time off last month, I still remained busy somehow. June 26th could not come any faster.
ALl the little ladies are beautiful, I love seeing little girls with locks. I know it felt good for your little girl to inform your mother about natural hair. I look forward to seeing your second set of locks. Take Care,
V
