One thing that is unique about these sisterlocks is that the ends are already at the stage of spiraling. This is most likely because my hair is already used to being locked. I just thought that was unique. My new install took 26 hours, stretched out over 4 days. My first install took an average of 48 hours that yielded 328 locks. I have not counted my new set of sisterlocks yet, but I know it's a lot. I will post more info later about the whole ordeal. It was fun and I learned a lot more info. from my consultant about preventing swelling in your sisterlocks too. I will post more about that soon too. :)
just having fun on the 4th of July! Her sisterlocks were braided going up into a crown, and then the hair at the top were curled on small rods, spritzed lightly with water.just a neat little up-do with her sisterlocksthe baby just wanted to say hi! 8 months already!Wow already out for the count! You have a beautiful family! Congrats on your second set, I can tell you are very happy. I'm interested in how to prevent locks from swelling, for my hubby's sake. Take Care
Congratulations :)
I look forward to reading your post about 'swelling' - sounds intriguing!
Congrats on getting your new set of Sisterlocks. You are beaming!! Your little ones are so sweet btw.
I am so happy for you and know the feeling of getting that new and improved set! They look great!
Thanks to everyone for their compliments and thoughts. They were very sweet and so appreciated. It's as if sisterlocks has a way to inspire you to do better inside and out. You are inspired to eat healthier, nourish and care for yourself better. I count them as a sincere blessing from the Lord. I have also been able to share and learn so much from all of you. Which I count as another blessing. As for the swelling, I will post more info about that later. Thanks again for just stopping by and sharing our journeys together. As always Lock on!
