I inspired my daughter to get locks as well. She has braidlocks that are about 90% fused. They will be 3 years old 11/10. She is 10. how old is your daughter? Congrats to her.

She is 10 & just loves her SL's. I just read this post, but I already had her looking at your daughter's beautiful SL's. Thanks for your comment. I just love the way hers are done! She really does not want me to start all over, but... I want our journey to somewhat be together & the difference in our locks is inspiring me to just plainly do better. This journey is for life & before I completly lock/fuse there are some improvements that need to be made.

I am so pleased that your daughter decided to get Sisterlocks. I am even more pleased that you took the time to make sure that she was mature enough to make the decision. Her locks are gorgeous!

To: Na Truly Me: I am honored to have inspired her, but she is also inspiring me too. (New, better & true SL's) As for her decision to get SL's, she is very mature and serious about her decision. She is eager to learn more and more about natural haircare. This past summer she also had a really good friend that comes from another state that just loves her traditional locks. When my daughter saw how versatile locks are as well as beautiful on little girls too, she was hooked. I am very happy for her. Now my 8 year old wants them, but I KNOW she is not ready yet
